New vicar licenced

New vicar at St Richard’s church, Langney
On Thursday 23rd September 2021 the Rev’d Alan Weaver was Collated & Inducted as the new vicar of St Richard’s church, Langney (pictured with churchwardens Annie Compton, Jacquie Hayhoe and the Bishop of Lewes). For the past sixteen years Alan has been vicar of St Michael’s, Jarvis Brook (Crowborough). St Richard’s parish includes both Langney and Sovereign Harbour; Alan and the people of St Richard’s look forward to this new chapter in their lives and to becoming increasingly involved in the Langney and Sovereign Harbour communities.
