New Reader Starts

We warmly welcome Catherine Evans-Routely to our Ministry Team at St. Richard's: June 2022

Catherine - Brief Biography:

I was admitted and licensed as a Reader in 2005 in the Diocese of Coventry; and have served in parishes in Rugby, Hertfordshire and Dudley before moving to Sussex.

I am delighted to be part of the ministry team here at St. Richards working alongside Fr. Alan and the Church wardens Jacquie and Annie. 

My role as Reader allows me to preach and lead worship. My badge of office is my blue preaching scarf. 

I remain a lay person with one foot in the world and one foot in the church. 

During the week I work for the Methodist Church as an Operations Manager part time in Warwickshire.
